Local, seasoned (old) Penticton drummer looking for people to put together rock act to play live gigs and have fun. Can be pop, rock, metal, don't care; just want to play. Not looking to be a rock star, or tour the world; Okanagan Valley will suffice.

I am looking for other instrumentalists (guitar? bass? drums? sax? clarinet?) who are interested in playing instrumental jazz/rock/folk for gigs at wineries, special events, etc. Original material, lots of improvising and altered arrangements of pop tunes could all be in the mix. I moved into the area about a year ago and am trying to meet and eventually play with some like minded folks.
Not sure how to categorize my 'style'. Maybe Rock with a large dose of blues. I am forever trying to mix it up and go somewhere else.
The main goal is to get together with some solid players and see where it goes. Love to jam with keys players. I also play some bass and have some basic recording/production skills.
I live in Kelowna but will drive.
I have thrown a bunch of samples of my playing together and made a web page with links to mp3s. I am hoping this method makes it easier and faster to connect.
